Welcome to AED at Ohio State! We are AED’s Ohio Alpha Chapter at The Ohio State University. As the Alpha Chapter, we were the first university in Ohio to establish an AED chapter. We strive to provide a variety of opportunities to pre-med and other preprofessional health students, whether it be through program events, social events, volunteer events, or a chance to network with different professionals or other students. As a chapter of a national organization, we abide by a Mission Statement that represents all other chapters. We strive to be an inclusive organization that forms a community conducive to intellectual, professional, academic, and personal development.

 

Mission Statement

Alpha Epsilon Delta is the National Health Preprofessional Honor Society dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in preprofessional health scholarship, including medicine, dentistry, veterinary, and others. The Society welcomes ALL students engaged in the pursuit of a professional healthcare career. AED offers opportunities for intellectual and professional development, provides a forum for students with common interests, and extends a program of service to benefit the college/university community.
