Greetings,
The Black Graduate and Professional Student Caucus would like to extend a warm welcome to new and returning students at Ohio State University! As we enter into an unprecedented school year, the Caucus is ever committed and excited to continue supporting Black graduate and professional students.
In 1971, students established the Caucus as an organization to provide a broad base of support to Black graduate and professional students. Today, that work continues through consistent programming devoted to providing spaces for support and advocacy, social connections, and service opportunities. Our signature programs include: First Friday Meetings, Mentoring Program in collaboration with the Columbus Urban League Young Professionals, and our annual Slater Johnson Memorial Banquet.
If you are a Black student and interested in joining the Caucus, visit go.osu.edu/bgpscjoin. Be sure to also visit our website (org.osu.edu/bgpsc) and follow our social media pages (Twitter/Instagram: @bgpscatosu) to stay informed about upcoming events. Our first events are listed below.
