About

Purpose

Bucks for TOPS is an active student organization at the Ohio State University. Bucks for TOPS works hand-in-hand with the Nisonger Center at The Ohio State University to raise money for scholarships and program funding, which allow future and current students enrolled in the TOPS (Transition Option in Post-Secondary Settings) program to achieve higher education and careers that would otherwise be unattainable. The TOPS program at The Ohio State University Nisonger Center offers individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities a unique opportunity to engage in OSU academic coursework and work experiences.

Goals for this semester:

  1. Bucks for TOPS aims to fund scholarships for TOPS (Transition Options in Postsecondary Settings) program students through hosting university-wide fundraising events. This academic year, in the Spring of 2019, Bucks for TOPS will host a 5k, in which all proceeds will go directly towards TOPS scholarships and program funding.
  2. Bucks for TOPS strives to support students with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they progress through their academic pursuits at The Ohio State University. This student organization will organize various community-service and social events, allowing TOPS students to become more involved as Buckeyes.

Raising funds for brighter futures.
