Dear Colleagues,
I would like to formally invite you and your flute ensembles to the 2025 COFA Flute Choir Showcase Concert, courtesy of The Central Ohio Flute Association Festival at The Ohio State University on April 5, 2025! The performance will take place in Weigel Hall at 10:00am in the brand-new Timashev Music Building at The Ohio State University! Our COFA advisor, Katherine Borst Jones and president, Meagan Gaskill have a wonderful Flute Festival planned and we encourage you to attend as many events as you can. Our guest artist, Allison Loggins-Hull, will be giving a fantasting recital and masterclass that you don’t want to miss!
In this semi-collage concert, the groups will enter the stage as another exits. We would like to include as many groups as possible, so please limit performances to seven minutes. We will include a mass flute choir performance again this year! All ensembles of three or more are welcome to participate. Please fill out the registration form and mail it to me with fees by March 1, 2025. Registration is $10 per performer (including conductor) and does include admission to the entire festival. Registration forms may be sent in the mail along with checks or you can email me your registration form. If you would prefer to register online, you can do so via this Google Form. If you prefer to pay electronically, you can do so using Eventbrite. Electronic registration is $12.51 per person, which includes a transaction fee.
