One of the highest priorities when it comes to fighting food waste is preventing it from happening in the first place! Our repurposing committee works on identifying sources of food waste at Ohio State and rescuing or upcycling that food. We partner with local food pantries and Ohio State student organizations to save food from the bin.

We organize food drives right before the holidays to redirect any food people may throw out during pantry cleaning to where it may be needed.
