Pen PALS is service organization that matches OSU students with 3rd-6th graders in Columbus City School District. The elementary and middle school students in our program strengthen their writing skills and gain a mentor in their OSU student.
PenPALS aims to improve the writing skills of the kids while providing a mentor and friend with whom they can communicate, all while instilling the importance of a college education.
There will be an End of the Year Event where we transport our elementary school students to Ohio State’s campus to meet their pen pal and enjoy a day together on campus.
We host seminars and fundraisers for our members throughout the year, so keep an eye out for information on those fun events!
