Brothers of Phi Delta Chi are dedicated to the scholastic experience and we know that a sound education is the foundation to our success as pharmacy professionals. We do our best to support the continuous professional development of our Brothers.
What does Xi Chapter do to embody these values?
- We hold study tables that Brothers can attend for help from a fellow student or just someone to study with.
- Brothers prepare drug monographs and present them to the Chapter at formal meetings (we call it “The Drug of the Month”). This is great communication and monograph practice for the presenting Brother, and allows other Brothers to learn about up-and-coming medications.
- The blood pressure exam is notoriously stressful for P1 and P2 students – Phi Delta Chi holds a “Blood Pressure Party” for Brothers to practice on each other to improve their blood pressure measuring technique.
