Every day, more than 128 people die from an opioid overdose, including prescription medication. In Ohio, the opioid epidemic looms over our communities and impacts our underserved populations the most. The GenerationRx initiative provides education and resources to the community to help prevent the misuse of prescription medications. This initiative collaborates with the OSU College of Pharmacy and the GenerationRx student organization. GenerationRx aims to reach the community at all stages of life: elementary, school children, teens, adults, older adults, and the local patient population.
