Nurturing interest in STEM fields

The STEM Outreach Club is a group of Ohio State University STEM students that create and deliver hands-on STEM experiences to schools, libraries, after-school programs, etc for grades K-12. Visits are free and we provide all the materials. We’ve designed many of the projects to cost $1 or less per student and are things they can take home. Most of our projects can be done in one class period (a little less than an hour).

Thanks to ArcelorMittal for their support!

If you’re in the Columbus area, and would like to schedule a visit, contact Prof. Betty Lise Anderson.

For folks not in central Ohio, feel free to use our PowerPoint presentations, teaching materials, and parts lists! Send feedback or questions to Prof. Anderson

If you’d like to donate, even $30 is enough for materials to make a speakers with an entire classroom. You can donate here.
