Applied Ethics and Technology at Ohio State

Welcome back to campus! We’re excited to get things rolling this year with speakers, topics, and projects!

We will be meeting this fall on Fridays at 6pm in Classroom 070 located in the basement of the 18th Avenue Library. Come join us this Friday, September 9th, to meet the Admin team and learn about what we do!

We are currently postponing in-person meetings until further notice. However, we are still holding online meetings starting tomorrow January 24th at 7:30pm over zoom.

Meetings will generally continue every Monday evening at 7:30pm this semester. Can’t wait to see you there!

Here are a couple of updates for the club’s plans for the spring semester!

• A collaborative event on March 10th with Advocates for Women of the World (AWOW) on the cyberstalking and hacking of women.
• A Month of Artificial Intelligence in March, where speakers and discussions will be had around the current state of AI and the ethical questions we currently face.
• A student led project to tackle issues that we discussed in the fall semester!
