Hi! My name is Laura Benson, I am a fourth year, and I am serving as the Secretary.
My Experiences
Most recently, I was on a year-long co-op at Cummins Inc. I am also very involved on campus as I am a member of Girls in Science, secretary for ChemE Car and the Gender-based Violence Awareness Committee director for Advocates for Women of the World. All of which I have been a part of since freshman year and I have loved learning and growing in.
My Hobbies
My hobbies include playing viola in the OSU community orchestra, painting, hanging out with friends and collecting way too many house plants. In the summer I love to kayak and travel, this past summer I travelled Europe which was extremely rewarding. I also love listening to music, mostly alternative and some hip-hop, and going to concerts.
