Who We Are
We are API at OSU! Made up of a group of students from The Ohio State University with various backgrounds
dedicated to making prosthetics more accessible for amputees using open-source and 3D-printing technologies, we work closely
with the larger national 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Accessible Prosthetics Initiative.
What We Do
We work with local groups of amputees and strive to make a positive impact in the local community
by helping those who may need help. We utilize the resources given to us by the Innovation Studio at Ohio State, and the
strength in numbers when it comes to volunteering to achieve our goals.
Our Why
We seek to increase education about prosthetics, as well as the proper resources for those who use
them, thus making prosthetics as a whole more accessible and obtainable.
