OPEN GYM INFORMATION/SCHEDULE
Open gyms for the club will be held in late August. The open gyms serve as a way for prospective athletes to get extra reps before tryouts and to meet current athletes as well as other players trying out for the team. All open gyms will be held at the Curl Courts on north campus. The Curl Courts are the beach volleyball courts on W Woodruff Ave directly adjacent to Curl Market. All players are encouraged to attend. The open gym schedule can be viewed below:
- OPEN GYM 1: AUGUST 22ND, 5p-7p @ Curl Courts
- OPEN GYM 2: AUGUST 26TH, 6p-8p @ Curl Courts
- OPEN GYM 3: AUGUST 28TH, 7p-9p @ Curl Courts
TRYOUT INFORMATION/SCHEDULE
Our 2024-2025 season tryouts will be held at the beginning of the fall semester. All prospective athletes trying out are required to pay a one-time tryout fee of $15 which will be paid at their first tryout appearance. All tryouts will be held from 6p-8p at the Curl Courts on OSU’s north campus. The Curl Courts are the beach volleyball courts on W Woodruff Ave directly adjacent to Curl Market. There are three tryout dates in the first week of September, but be aware that not all 3 tryouts should be attended by a single athlete. Given that the club consists of male and female athletes, the club is holding a female-only tryout, a male-only tryout, and finally an invite only co-ed tryout. - FEMALE ONLY TRYOUT : SEPTEMBER 2ND, 6p-8p @ Curl Courts
- MALE ONLY TRYOUT: SEPTEMBER 4TH, 6p-8p @ Curl Courts
- COED TRYOUT (INVITE ONLY): SEPTEMBER 6TH, 6p-8p @ Curl Courts
We encourage all athletes of any skill level to try out for the team. We are excited to see all of you at tryouts!

- able to attend practices and weekend tournaments
- willing to help with fundraising/service events set up by OSUBVC
If prospective players have interest in joining the club in the spring semester, we recommend that they attend fall tryouts since tryouts will likely not be held for the spring semester.
