First Meeting, August 27th

Thank you all for stopping by our booth at the Involvement Fair! It was great to see how excited everyone is about Bread Club. Reminder that our first meeting is this Tuesday (27th) in the RPAC demo kitchens. We will have 2 different times just at the beginning of this term. Keep an eye out for the sign up coming soon and mark your calendars. See you all soon 🙂

About Bread Club

Whether you’re just starting, are an avid baker, or just wanting to socialize, OSU Bread Club is welcome to all. Weekly meetings are held on Tuesdays during the Fall 2024 semester in the RPAC Demo Kitchens, which are located on the second floor. From 7:30-10 pm, the club bakes sweet and savory recipes chosen by its members! This semester, we hope to collaborate with other clubs for fun, themed meetings. Feel free to bring friends for a meeting!

Soft Pretzels

Brought to Bread Club both semesters in 2022, and fall 2023 after overwhelming positive feedback. With only a short bake time, this club favorite is here to stay with sweet and savory options.

Carrot Cake

This meeting was one for our members with a sweet tooth! This delicious and healthy (right?) recipe made for a bit of a mess, but the results were well worth it. Whether in a double-layered cake, or a batch of cupcakes, the final product was a success.

Chocolate Tart

This delicious treat was a great way to end the week. While some members opted for the traditional tart topped with fresh fruit and powdered sugar, others made a fruit compote! Regardless of the members decided to execute this tart, one thing is certain: this recipe is here to stay!

What to Expect

Show Up at 7:30 pm Tuesdays
All Ingredients and equipment are provided
All meetings start with special instructions and a word from the Executive Board
You get to work with those sitting at the same table to produce one recipe’s worth
All prepared food is enjoyed at the end of the meeting
There will be bags for any leftovers you want to take home
