Think Tank
- We are looking for a few students who are not involved in project teams to join our Think Tank. The goal is to develop partnerships and projects with various organizations.
- By joining, you can help guide where our future efforts in Design for 90 will be directed. You can join any of the new projects you help develop as a project team member.
- If you have any questions or are interested, please email Stavan at shah.1266@osu.edu.
Creative Living
- Right now: Creative Living has put in requests for 3D printed prototype parts
- Next week: As soon as those are received, we will make minor edits to the models as needed and prepare for testing
Carrying Solutions
- Right now: the Carrying Solutions Team is presenting SolidWorks models and getting feedback from the people at Open Shelter to decide what final features to include
- Considering how much shelter from weather should be provided with this cart
- Should we include just a rainfly for their belongings, a full area where they can sleep while covered, or somewhere in between?
- Our new members are definitely getting in stride with their work! Everyone is contributing so much to the team and we have enough people now to split the team in two, with a materials team and a mechanical design team.
- Considering how much shelter from weather should be provided with this cart
- What’s next: continue working with the people at Open Shelter to finalize a design
Compost Tea Optimization Project
- Right now: Compost Tea is finalizing their experimental procedure and compost tea recipe
- What’s next: Begin testing at the student farm!
Meeting Reminder
