Why: Participants will view the movie and recognize how the Khmer Rouge impacted Cambodia. We will engage in discussion regarding the book and movie.
KHSA will be collaborating with the Multicultural Center at The Ohio State University for the Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM). We invited Sera Koulabdara to come and join us, she is a board member of ‘Legacies of War’, Legacies’ mission is to advocate for the removal of unexploded bombs left in Laos during the Vietnam War era. She will be presenting and advocating her organization at the event. Participants will view the movie and recognize how the Khmer Rouge impacted Cambodia. We will engage in discussion regarding the book and movie.
