The Ohio Student Education Association is a part of the Ohio Education Association, which is the Ohio branch of a national teacher’s union (NEA). OSEA focuses on teaching future educators how to become the best teachers they can be. OSEA provides opportunities such as professional conferences, volunteering experiences, and speaker events to build community and gain a deep understanding of the life of a teacher. Not only does OSEA provide such opportunities but we also hold socials for group members to mingle and get to know their peers. We provide an inclusive environment to all students who want to pursue an education career no matter what grade level or subject one wants to teach! Regardless of your major, if OSEA sounds interesting to you come check us out! Meetings are held on Tuesday nights at 7:30pm in Ramseyer room 100 unless noted otherwise.
