This year, the team went out to California to compete in the international RoboSub competition. UWRT came prepared to put its best foot forward, but had some difficulties in the semifinals, just missing the cutoff to enter the finals. However, they were given the opportunity for a third chance run and successfully qualified for the finals, where they earned second place in the autonomy challenge.
