General Subteam Updates

STEMBot
We have one more session of STEMBot Program where Rosemore Middle School students will compete to see which of them can get through the underwater obstacle course the fastest!  These last four weeks of teaching students the fundamentals of engineering, along with helping them assemble the STEMBots has been so rewarding to the volunteers.  We are excited for the last session to take place!
Talos and Puddles Progress
Over Spring Break, a bunch of progress was made on Talos and Puddles’ new Smart Battery Housings! The main housings were delivered, allowing us to tap all needed holes for fasteners. Window plates were installed, as well as lids, sub-cons, and pressure relief valves were fitted to each housing also. Five housings were able to be watertight tested and installed on both vehicles! At our next pool test, Talos will be utilizing the new battery housings. We are excited to see how they perform in the pool and what impact they have on the overall performance of both vehicles.

Social Event

Celebrate all of the hard work we put into the team this year by joining us for our second end of the year celebration! The event will be held on Friday, April 21st from 7:30pm to 9:30pm in the Lawrence Tower Ballroom. Additional details can be found on the flyer posted in the “General” channel.
