Welcome to the Ohio State Running Club competitive team!
The Ohio State Running Club is a NIRCA-affiliated (National Intercollegiate Running Club Association) club. We compete in cross country, indoor/outdoor track and field, and road races throughout Ohio and nearby states, racing in both NIRCA meets against other large school running clubs and in smaller Division 2/3 meets against college teams.

Our competitive team is not for just long distance runners! In spring semester, our indoor and outdoor track teams consist of long distance, middle distance, sprints, and field events!
What are the common race distances?
In cross country, most of our races are 8k for men and 6k for women. In track, the available events change on a per-meet basis and range from the 55m dash to the 10k. See the Records tab for a detailed breakdown on past track events.
How fast do I have to be to compete?
Anyone can compete; our club does not make cuts to our competitive team! Some of our races have a varsity/open race distinction, but every race is open to everyone! See our Records tab to see our top club times.
What races are we running?
