The Maker Club met in the Bolz wood shop this week to assemble modular desktop organizers.

Club members learned some basic woodworking skills from our president, Caleb Caldwell, as they cut pegboard and plywood to meet their personal design specifications.

After power-drilling together their boards and bases, the customization truly began as club members got to choose from a series of custom-designed modules made from laser-cut plywood. After setting up their boards with pen holders, cable-management systems, and other modules, club members got to sanding, staining, and refining their assembly.

Everyone walked home with their own practical and customized desktop storage solution, hopefully convincing others that they are more organized than they actually are!
