For our first project of the year, we built individual pianos for ourselves using an Arduino Nano and related hardware!
Arduino Nano piano
Materials provided:
-Arduino nano
-Breadboard
-Piezo buzzer
-Resistors
-Pushbuttons
-Potentiometer
-9V battery
Everyone is given a kit and instructions to construct the piano. Instructions and guidance were given to participants throughout the meeting by the Maker Club board members.
The nano piano has 5 keys, which each can be tuned to the pitch desired using the tuning potentiometer and the control button. The sound volume could be adjusted with the volume potentiometer.
After the meeting, most participants walked home with a functional nano piano they constructed.
