For our first project of the spring 2019 semester, we built book storages from scratch using plywood. The book storage built is shown below.

During this meeting, students learned to operate band-saw and mighty saw to cut the wood provided into the needed dimension. They also learn to use a power drill and an impact driver to properly join two pieces of wood together.

We hope that everyone who joined us on Monday is getting some good use out of their hand-cut wooden book storage containers! There’s always so much to do with woodworking and we hope to build upon these skills with future projects! Everyone did a great job putting together their designs and we hope you’ll join us in the coming weeks to learn even more!
