The Maker Club teamed up with the Ohio State Screen Printing Association to introduce students to the process of screen printing and gave them the chance to emblazon their own shirts with the Maker Club insignia.
The SPA demonstrated how ink is applied to the print screen and then transferred to whatever surface is chosen.
Right after being shown how to apply the ink to their shirts, the Maker Club went right to work! (With some help, of course).
Sometimes accidents happen, but it’s all just a part of the learning experience.
The club members continued on and successfully customized their shirts. The final step involved drying the ink with what amounts to a hotter-than-usual hairdryer.
Finally, club members were able to proudly display the logo of the Maker Club to the world!
