The Maker Club met in the Bolz wood shop this week to assemble modular desktop organizers.
The Maker Club teamed up with the Ohio State Screen Printing Association to introduce students to the process of screen printing and gave them the chance to emblazon their own shirts with the Maker Club insignia.
The club gathered to learn about using HTML, Javascript, and CSS to create a simple and engaging game using the RGB color system.
Club members had the chance to experiment with PVC pipe and fittings in a mini-design challenge to see which group could devise the most useful contraption.
For our first project meeting, club members constructed a small robot using an Arduino Nano that draws cool patterns.

We worked with the Arduino Nano, ultrasonic sensors, RGB LEDs, and Piezo buzzers to make door alarms that react to motion! This meeting featured a full walkthrough of the entire process from coding the Arduino to constructing a circuit. The
Our advisor, Dr. Metzler, shared with us her experiences collaborating with Sarah Oppenheimer to develop and install a sculpture which was on display in the Wexner Galleries for several months. More information on the piece can be found here.
