Member of the Month
Every month, members of our ASDA chapter vote for fellow members to be nominated as the Member of the Month. Members may be nominated for various reasons, including diligent work for our chapter, helping a classmate out at school or in clinic, or just being a good friend!

Why did you Join ASDA?
I joined ASDA because I was looking for an organization that would challenge me to grow both as a student and a professional!
What event are you looking forward to this year?
I’m looking forward to some exciting fundraising events with Elaina and I have planned for the spring and summer semesters!
What is your favorite dental school memory so far?
My favorite memory so far was definitely Mandiball!

Why did you Join ASDA?
I joined ASDA because it offered both professional development activities and fun social events!
What event are you looking forward to this year?
I’m looking forward to the Leadership Retreat this summer as well as the District 6 Conference in the fall.
What is your favorite dental school memory so far?
Mandiball! It was great seeing everyone dressed up and it was a fun night.

Why did you Join ASDA?
I joined ASDA to be a part of something that developed me professionally and to participate in all of the fun events ASDA puts on.
What event are you looking forward to this year?
I am really looking forward to the District 6 Conference and the Mr. Molar pageant this year.
What is your favorite dental school memory so far?
My favorite memories of dental school so far have been celebrating the end of exams with my classmates.

Why did you Join ASDA?
I joined ASDA to get involved and learn more about the career of dentistry outside of dental school. I also joined because all the fun, cool people do it and I wanted to be be fun and cool too.
What event are you looking forward to this year?
I can’t wait for this year’s Mr. Molar, the vendor fair, and the District 6 Conference. They seriously are some of the most enjoyable days of the year!
What is your favorite dental school memory so far?
My favorite memory from dental school was the first time taking impressions on one another. Truly so funny and incredibly traumatic! And all the mandiballs!

Why did you Join ASDA?
I joined ASDA because I think organized dentistry is important and there are so many benefits to being an ASDA member!
What event are you looking forward to this year?
I’m looking forward to Lobby Day at the Statehouse this year
What is your favorite dental school memory so far?
My favorite memory from dental school so far is attending Halfway Dinner with my husband and son. It was a great way to celebrate being halfway done with dental school and starting clinic!

What event are you looking forward to this year?
I’m looking forward to the D6 conference in Cleveland this year since I’ve helped plan it.
What is your favorite dental school memory so far?
My favorite memory has been spring-break in Nashville with my fellow D1s- yeehaw 🤠

I joined ASDA because I was able to see some of the events the org did when I was an undergrad here and knew I wanted to be a part of it.

I’m looking forward to the leadership summit in January
