Faculty advisor Meta Brown
Meta Brown is an associate professor of Economics at the Ohio State University and serves as the faculty advisor to Graduate Women in Economics. Her work focuses primarily on education, student debt, demographics, and labor. She is also a faculty affiliate for the Institution for Population Research, and an affiliate of the Institute for Economic Equity at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
President Sooa Ahn
Sooa Ahn is a PhD student in the Economics Department, specializing in health and labor economics. Her research focuses on the labor supply of healthcare professionals, health outcomes of underserved populations, and public policy implications in these areas.
Vice president Jing Feng
Jing Feng is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Economics at The Ohio State University. Her primary fields are labor and education economics. Her secondary field is political economy. Her current work examines the impact of political connections on the allocation of public amenities.
Treasurer Young In Lee
Young In Lee is a macroeconomist focusing on the role of production/capital input-output network structures in the mechanism of how the sectoral financial frictions contribute to the aggregate economy. Her study began with a simple two-sector economy under a complete market setting and is being extended to an N-sector economy with sectoral financial frictions and substitutabilities among sectors.
