On Saturday April 22nd, 2023 the African Youth League hosted their 6th annual African Distinction Gala: The Masquerade Ball. This event consisted of commemorating students and student organizations for the achievements they have reached in regards to the arts, dance, academics, etc., along with awarding two scholarships. Superlatives were also awarded to our prominently active general body members. Lastly, a recap of the 2022-2023 school year was presented, with dance and spoken word performances, along with the presentation of the incoming 2023-2024 Executive Board.
