Scholarships for Incoming Freshmen

 

There are plenty of scholarships available for FIRST Alumni. High school students who have participated or are currently participating in a FIRST Robotics Competition and/or FIRST Tech Challenge team are eligible to apply for FIRST scholarships. The following scholarship providers listed below are either associated with the College of Engineering or have an affiliated student organization chapter at The Ohio State University. Triangle Fraternity – Ohio State Scholarships
Deadline: September 3, 2021
Availability: Two (2) $1,000 non-renewable scholarships

Description: Triangle Fraternity was born in the spring of 1907 in order to provide a social, educational, and professional resource for engineers, scientists, and architects while in pursuit of their careers in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Today, the Triangle Education Foundation and The Ohio State University Chapter of Triangle Fraternity is honored to continue this legacy by offering two (2) $1,000 scholarships for students of FIRST robotics as they seek continuing education in STEM areas at The Ohio State University. The Ohio State University College of Engineering

Deadline: February 1, 2021
Availability: Twenty (20) $1,000 non-renewable scholarships
Description: Students that self-identify as participants on any FIRST team through the Special Scholarship Application are reviewed for this competitive, merit-based $1,000 award. Up to 20 awards issued annually. Triangle Fraternity – National Scholarships
Deadline: May 31, 2021
Availability: Four (4) $2,500 non-renewable scholarships
Description: Triangle Fraternity was born in the spring of 1907 in order to provide a social, educational, and professional resource for engineers, scientists, and architects while in pursuit of their careers in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Today, the Triangle Education Foundation is honored to continue this legacy by offering four (4) $2,500 scholarships for students of FIRST robotics as they seek continuing education in STEM areas. Preference will be given to students attending universities associated with a chapter of Triangle Fraternity.
