Minecraft Club is Back!

Welcome back Crafters!

Minecraft Club is here once again, and we’d like to start the year off by saying thank you all for your patience. We’ve been working very hard behind the scenes to bring you an all new Minecraft experience here at Ohio State.

Last year our organization ran a realms server that had a couple issues, the biggest being the lack of cross-play between Java and Bedrock. This caused a divide between people who played different editions of the game. This year, we came up with a solution to this problem which brings us to our big announcement.

Today marks the launch of BuckeyeCraft, our official Minecraft server that’s compatible with all editions of the game! Our server runs vanilla Minecraft on the latest version (which is currently 1.21.1), pack with some quality of life features such as being able to individually disable player-vs-player.

Currently to join, you must be whitelisted. This can be done by going to our How To Join section of our website and following the instructions.

One more thing, this month we’ll be running a build competition! The theme will be Spawn, and the winner will have their build become apart of our server’s spawn-point for this year, along with a $25 gift-card, and a special role in the Discord. We look forward to seeing what you all come up with! More details to come.
