PASA Committees

PASA traditionally advances our mission through committees like the Professional Development, Social, Service, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, and Gala Committees! All Glenn grad students are welcome and encouraged to serve on any of these committees that meet roughly once a month.

  • The Professional Development Committee works to plan events and share resources that provide educational and professional programming to enhance career planning and preparation.
  • The Social Committee works to promote fellowship within the college through social programming.
  • The Service Committee works to find, share, and create opportunities for Glenn grad students to engage in public service through community service work. Past projects have included a Thanksgiving Food & Toiletry Drive, group trash pickups in local parks, and coordinating volunteering with local organizations.
  • The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee exists to further PASA and the Glenn College’s work on diversity, equity, and inclusion. PASA is committed to collaborating to provide thoughtful programming for students related to Black Lives Matter, police violence, anti-racism, and structural disparities and develop strategies for Glenn organizations to be both actively anti-racist and a support system for all Glenn students in their endeavors to initiatechange and positively impact their communities while continually educating ourselves.  The PASA DE&I Chair generally sits on the Glenn College DE&I Committee.
  • The Gala Committee plans the annual Glenn Gala! The Glenn Gala is an event that is usually held in the Spring semester and brings together Glenn grad students and alumni to raise funds for a philanthropic cause/organization. The Gala is an opportunity for students and alumni to dress up, network, and raise money for a cause.

If you’re interested in getting involved or serving on one of these committees, please reach out to glennpasa@osu.edu!
