President: Jack Faust
Jack is a senior business major from Lake Elmo, Minnesota, specializing in Finance. Jack has been involved in the Student Financial Planning Association since 2020 and grew a great interest and appreciation for the field of financial planning. He spent the past summer interning at Vanguard in their College to Corporate Advice program. Outside of work and school, Jack enjoys watching Formula 1, going out on Minnesota’s many lakes, and spending time with friends.
President: Anthony Bruno
Anthony is a senior business major from Bradford, Pennsylvania, specializing in Finance and minoring in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Anthony joined the Student Financial Planning Association his freshman year in order to gain knowledge of the financial planning industry while having the opportunity to network with industry professionals in the area. In his free time, he enjoys going to OSU sporting events, working out, and playing basketball with friends.
Vice President: Joel Potts
Joel is a senior business major from Ephrata, Pennsylvania, specializing in Finance and minoring in Consumer and Family Financial Services. He joined the Student Financial Planning Association during his freshman year because he was interested in personal finance and learning more about a career in the field. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing sports with friends and being involved with Cru on campus.
Treasurer: Grant Vanwinkle
Grant Van Winkle is a 3rd year student from Granville, OH. Grant is a Consumer and Family Financial Services major from the college of Education and Human Ecology, as well receiving a certificate from the Deans Leadership Academy, in the Fisher College of Business. Grant joined the fall of his sophomore as a transfer student to seek out professional opportunities and career advancement within the industry. Outside of the FPA, Grant likes to spend his time reading, cooking, and working out.
Social Media Manager: Gia Globokar
Gia is a junior business major from Canton, Ohio, specializing in Finance and minoring in French. Gia joined the Student Financial Planning Association her sophomore year to learn more about financial wellness, the general industry and to foster professional connections. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, watching Love Island UK, and compiling playlists on Spotify.
Recruitment Chair: Rachel Perry
Rachel Perry is a junior at Ohio State studying finance, originally from Elmhurst, Illinois. Rachel joined the Student Financial Planning Association her sophomore year to become immersed in the industry and learn more about financial planning careers. In her free time, she loves to listen to Taylor Swift and read books.
Events Chair: Nick Augenstein
Nick is a senior finance major from Dublin, Ohio, with a strong interest in wealth management, as well as other paths related to business. Nick joined the Student Financial Planning Association to gain knowledge, meet other students and alumni with similar financial planning interests and network with a variety of companies. In his free time, he enjoys attending OSU football games, playing in a winter hockey league, golfing with his friends, and traveling to cities both within the US and internationally with his family.
Secretary: Michael Chojnacki
Michael is a junior finance major and real estate minor from Hudson, Ohio, with an interest in financial planning. Michael Joined Student Financial Planning Association the fall of his sophomore year to get introduced and learn more about the financial planning field, and to build up a solid network and meet new people. Michael is also on the club lacrosse team here at OSU, and is in PGN, a professional development organization. In his free time Michael likes to golf, hike, camp, or really anything that is outside and active.
