The Main Menu Project works with Columbus area restaurants to create screen-reader friendly menus for individuals with low vision. We format our menus so that screen reading technology easily navigates the page; this contrasts with many online menus that are often formatted in an inaccessible way. We then code our menus onto NFC tags; individuals can tap their phone to this tag and our menu seamlessly pops up on their screen. The NFC tags are also labeled in braille so that blind individuals can identify the menu.

We provide these menus and NFC tags free of charge, and we love collaborating with our partners to best implement our product in their restaurants. Please visit the menu page for examples.
