On Saturday April 17th, 2021 the African Youth League hosted their annual and signature event of African Night 2021: Unity; in collaboration with NAFSA and other schools such as Indiana State University, Wright State University, University of Minnesota, and Ohio University. Taking different measures and making history due to the unprecedented events of the COVID-19 pandemic, the showcasing of African culture and heritage through music, dance, spoken word/poetry, and fashion show was carried out virtually; live-streamed on YouTube.
