About

Who are we?

Chrysalis is a student organization at The Ohio State University. Our goal is to give undergraduate students interested in entomology the opportunity to learn more about insects and network with other individuals who have similar interests, while reducing the stigma that surrounds insects.

What do we do?

Club activities include insect collecting trips, creating insect displays, insectary tours, community service, research presentations, cooking with insects, bee farm tours, and more. A favorite annual event is volunteering at the Museum of Biological Diversity open house.

When do we meet?

We generally have one meeting per month on Monday at 6:00 pm. Meeting locations vary monthly. See our upcoming events for more information!

Where are we based?

Chrysalis is housed in theĀ College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES), Department of Entomology. Students from any college and discipline at Ohio State are welcome to participate as members of our organization.
