No need to worry, everybody! Once you’re done binging your favorite shows, you’ll be able to finally catch up on some real world drama starting January 2022. Netflix has announced a cooperation with the Organization for Palestinian Relief and plans to release a documentary covering the extent of the conflict in Palestine.

“Netflix has always been committed to activism,” CEO Reed Hastings explained in a press conference immediately after hastily shuffling a chart labeled “PROFITS” off stage. “We try to show that both in our office and in our assortment of programming. That’s why we’re excited to raise awareness about the conflict, and I’m thankful for the hundreds of thousands of individual donations that let us make it happen.”

Some online voices have alleged that the OPR has misused their donations, claiming that funding a documentary does not constitute the direct action they had originally donated for. Reed took time in his press conference to assure them that the OPR is led by people with integrity, saying “I know my brother better than anyone, and he always does the right thing.”
