Vision and Mission Statement
Missions:
- To maintain a thriving community at The Ohio State University for Disabled students to find support, connection, and joy
- To ensure our campus is as inclusive as possible and the access needs of the entire OSU community are fully accommodated
Vision:
- To widely normalize Disability identities, encourage a passion for community-building and accessibility, and promote a deep understanding of the experiences of Disabled people
What We Do:
- Work with OSU administration to improve their accessibility resources and policies
- Create our own access resources to help Disabled community members
- Hold weekly virtual meetings to educate on and discuss topics surrounding accessibility and Disability
- Hold accessible, public, community-building events
- Host active groupchats where Disabled students can share experiences, make friends, and get advice and support
