It seems to me that many people are concerned about contracting the deadly virus, Ebola. I can assure you, it is extremely unlikely that an Ebola outbreak will occur in the United States. In order to give you a sense of how unlikely an outbreak is, here’s a list of situations that are way more likely to happen:
- You calling your mom and letting her know you’re alive and well, and that you appreciate everything she’s done for you.
- Being friends with your ex.
- Liking your ex’s new significant other.
- You looking decent and well-put together and then running into someone you don’t like from your past.
- That friend that owes everyone money all the time finally pays everyone back.
- Finally getting your father’s genuine approval.
- Leonardo DiCaprio finally winning the Oscar he deserves.
- Getting out of the friendzone you’ve been stuck in for three years.
- You coming within 10 feet of Kate Upton.
- The conservative Christians on The Oval shouting things like “God loves all his children! You AREN’T going to hell!”
- You actually following through with the promise you made to your friends that you won’t black out again and ruin their night.
- Nicholas Sparks writing a horror novel.
- The NFL holding players accountable for their actions.
- A person walking out of “The Fault in Our Stars” without shedding a single tear.
- Your boss valuing your hard work and effort and rewarding it with some well-deserved time off.
- Getting an A on that midterm you didn’t study for at all.
- Bipartisanship in our government.
- You getting the flu because you’ve decided that vaccines aren’t medically necessary. But no, go ahead and continue to worry about dying from Ebola. Its not like the flu is an actual concern or anything like that.
