How many list pieces have you read today? On average, my 20-something-year-old roommates read an average of 10 list pieces a day, and each piece has an average of 10 items. That means we read 100 things a day! Over time, however, you start to see the same list items over and over, so I have compiled the most common things everyone has read in a list piece:
-
Your college roommate is your best friend forever. You share expensive bills, exorbitant rent and too little space. You couldn’t be closer.
-
You watched every episode. You sat alone and binge watched every episode of that series. Yup, and you talked about it for a solid week. We know.
-
You shouldn’t eat and drive. One time I was eating frozen yogurt while driving and I rear-ended a Volkswagen.
-
Everyone is sitting on their phones. Why don’t we ever talk face-to-face anymore?
-
You can quote every episode. But you shouldn’t because most of us don’t know what you’re talking about.
-
You roll your eyes every time you hear it. Ugh, this again? That’s enough!
-
Shirtless celebrity. They always do this!
-
Does anyone do that outside of your state? No. Only your state does that.
-
Justin Timberlake’s frosted tips. Do you remember N’Sync? Only 90’s kids do.
-
Movies as book covers. They should all look like this.
-
An old person eating alone at a restaurant. It’s freaking adorable and downright depressing at the same time. Am I right?

THIS.
