With title track “Dean’s Nutz,” President Michael “Run-MD.M.C.” Drake dropped his new album today. With songs like: “$tay in $chool (but Drugs are $till Cool),” “Straight outa Stanford,” and “Fuck da Campus Police (ft. Dr. J),” Drake explores themes of academic excellence, crack addiction, and time management. This intense, down-to-earth album adventures to the scary area in between campus and the Short North while also busting rhymes in a central Ohio kind of way. This prolific album has been called both “the shit” by Lil Jon, and “Why would he do this” by University of Michigan President Mark Schlissel.
The Sundial would rate this album 5.4 Natty Lights out of 10. We are looking forward to great things from Drake’s upcoming Sophomore album, Okay, Time to Really Focus on $chool and not on Beer, with already leaked track, “Ain’t Nobody Fuckin’ wit da Provost (but drugs remain cool).”
