Soon after his birth on December 25th, Baby Jesus, along with his parents, Mary and Joseph, were reported unwrapping gifts of Frankincense and Myrrh while conjuring up smiles to appear grateful. “Wow, thanks! You shouldn’t have!” said Joseph as he was unsure of what he even opened up. “I really tried to look happy. I did. But a pack of diapers would have been nice too.” said the Virgin Mother, after the fact. “Y’know, I could’ve given gold, but I thought ALL of us agreed we were keeping it simple,” stated the bitter Wiseman that brought Myrrh. At press time, Joseph was spotted searching the unwrapped boxes for gift receipts. Baby Jesus had no comment.
