Today is a sad day for the Sundial Humor Magazine.

Our beloved Social Media Officer has been negligent of their duties in the past week. While their name has been omitted for their professional reputation, they provided that “what I have done is unforgivable, it is wrong and outright shameful… but I will not be resigning.” The Social Media Officer neglected to acknowledge when the Sundial Instagram hit 69 followers. They did not write an article; they did not make an announcement; they allegedly did not even say “nice” under their breath. They (reportedly) did not notice until the follower count hit 72 and couldn’t scramble quick enough to get anyone to unfollow briefly.

The majority of the Sundial membership have been giving the SMO the cold shoulder, and they have been banished to a zoom break-out room more than once to “think long and hard about what they did.”

With Sundial e-board elections coming up, the incumbent is facing a record low 20% approval rating. The Sundial, however, will not bar them from running, despite their egregious lapse in judgment.

I, for one (off the record), think that this negligence was not malicious and that the Social Media Officer should not be impeached nor reproached.
