CAMPUS- As many OSU students know, Buckeyemail inboxes get very crowded. There are important updates from professors regarding classes, information regarding activities in their major, harsh scolding from the University Vice President directed at people who probably won’t read past the subject line, and endless sales from Barnes and Noble.

This past Thursday, however, a diamond in the rough was found amidst the heap of digital junk. A student in the College of Engineering aptly informed the entire department mailing list that he was in fact very sick. “I’ve felt pretty sick recently, I’m very sore from trying to land that kickflip.”, read the email from Freshman Tony Heck. “This took a lot of effort, but here’s me doing just about anything”- attached to the end of the email was a stylish high-resolution video of Heck skateboarding in the area between the Tom W. Davis Clocktower and the North Rec Center.

This mass video incited some passionate reactions. One FEH professor was outraged: “He couldn’t even hold his manual for half a second — really disappointing”. “How dare he be so careless as to film it in portrait mode??”, said the engineering department chair, appalled at the lack of professionalism. However, one of Heck’s classmates seemed impressed, noting the video “was so gnarly, I might actually start respecting the skaters who block my path to Scott almost every day.”

Heck did not respond to the Sundial’s request for comment, but we eagerly await his next edit.
