Our next student spotlight is Nitish Srivastava! Nitish is an honors ChemE major and biomedical engineering minor student from Dublin, Ohio, who plans to graduate next semester. A fun fact about him is that he has been skydiving! Nitish has been a part of AIChE for over a year now and he is currently part of the intramural volleyball team. He participates in research in Dr. Palmer’s artificial blood lab working on the storage ability of hemoglobin and electrospinning hemoglobin to construct an oxygen carrying scaffold for wound healing applications. Outside of the classroom, Nitish enjoys working out, playing squash and racquetball, and traveling to national parks, his favorite being the Grand Canyon National Park. If he were to give advice to underclassmen he would recommend making friends with those who can help with your assignments. Thanks Nitish for all your hard work!
