After roughly one hundred and eleven years of publication history, closure and revival, fights with the administration, and millions of dollars spent by Les Wexner on covering up the truth, Sundial Humor Magazine has sold all digital and print assets, and trademarks to Barstool Sports.

“We’re excited for this new chapter in our company, and to be able to take the legacy of this organization forward. I’ve always wanted to be able to reach eighteen year old girls-I mean students easier,” says Barstool CEO Dave Portnoy, in an interview late last week.

“For years, we’ve been stealing creative content from students and profiting from it with shitty flags, and shitty tee shirts, and now we can finally say we own the right to humor here at Ohio State. I think to celebrate, I’m going to squash my unionizing writers.”

Packing up the last boxes of memorabilia, exiting Editor-in-Chief Zach Levy thinks back to fond memories in the organization. “It’s been a fun ride, but it’s time to go now. Print media is dead, and now, it takes its next victim,” he tells us, as he continues to shred thousands of incriminating documents.

Levy will continue in a similar role at Fox News, citing transferable skills as the reason for the decision.

Reporters spoke to students upset over the closure. “It’ll be sad to see them go. Wait, what is it called again, Sundale?” stated junior Marcus Johnson.
