Mitigating Food Waste: An Expert Panel Discussion

Did you know 40% of all food produced in the US is never eaten? To raise awareness on this topic, Know Food Waste and Citation Needed have organized an expert panel discussion on food waste as a part of Time for Change week at Ohio State.

The expert panel comprises of researchers, student leaders and industry leaders fighting food waste. Join us on April 6 for an interactive discussion on food waste, ways to reduce it, ways to increase awareness on the topic, recent initiatives/research at Ohio State related to food waste, and shifts in food waste due to COVID-19. You will have a chance to hear from and interact with our amazing speakers: Dr. Brian Roe, Kari Armbruster, Christy Cook, Dave Daniel, Timothy Kirby, and Lucy Schroder. This panel discussion invites speakers from various points along the food supply chain to better understand where food waste is occurring and potential solutions they are working on to fight food waste.
