Resistance—in all its forms—has never been more necessary these days. Fortunately, well-informed members of the population stay vigilant to call out harmful policies when they see it. One such bastion of resistance, Twitter user @jeffsactivism, has outdone us all today.

When browsing his timeline, Jeff came across a tweet that said, “i miss october 2016 when we were just dealing with clowns everywhere why cant we go back to that”: a nostalgic tweet about Fall 2016 when people would dress as clowns and attack people. Jeff seized the opportunity to add the message “We’re still dealing with clowns, @realdonaldtrump is in office!”, that gif of Trump making fun of a disabled reporter, and his profile picture—a poorly-lit image of a 35-year-old man wearing shades in the front seat of an SUV—to the replies of this complete stranger’s tweet.

The Sundial decided to reach out to @jeffsactivism to understand how his genius worked. “I don’t know, I just don’t like the guy,” he told us. When we asked if he disapproved of the attempted trans military ban, the encouragement of white supremacist chants at his rallies, or the continuously backfiring trade war that doesn’t even address the ultimate cause for the loss of manufacturing jobs, he said “Those all certainly aren’t good. I didn’t know about those, though. I’m just always disappointed by his tweets”.

We were amazed by his unconditional dedication to resistance, but we wanted to know what his thoughts were on the current state of affairs. “I haven’t had time to research candidates between the wife and my job as a banker, but that Joe Biden guy was pretty funny back in 2013. I think anyone would like him, whether your name is Umberto or Anita”.

Jeff’s commitment to change is admirable, but Jeff is only one person. We must all commit to his brand of activism: Spreading remarks against Trump far and wide so that people everywhere are aware that he is a terrible person.
